A group of us, dental technician students from Italy, arrived in Berlin and have been staying for 4 weeks. Berlin was surprisingly big and multicultural compared to our small town, Potenza.

The first new knowledge we gained was the functionality of the 3D printer with the Autodesk program. We have learned to use the 3D printing program because in the dental sector it is a popular and emerging technology. During the 3-day Tech Academy course we learned different techniques. The first day we designed a little man and thanks to this we have got to know the program and its tools in a better way. On the second day we have designed the wheels and the spoiler and at the end of the day we started printing that lasted all night. On our last day, we assembled the cars after which we tested them in a race. When the race was finished we tested their revolutionary bicycles.

During the second week we have learned to use English better at our English course, thanks to our talented teacher, Emma. We were learning by various activities, such as listening to songs, watching videos, having conversations and playing games.

Meanwhile a very useful skill, we have acquired in Berlin is the use of trains and subways to get around the city in a very fast way. (In our small Italian town, we don’t have so much public transport!)

During the third week, with the help of another tutor – Elettra – we learned to express our emotions through various exercises. This course has touched us a lot and opened us up.

During all our courses in Berlin we have also learned useful skills like writing a curriculum vitae, video making and the basics of journalism.

To deepen our knowledge we visited various museums and a German school where students study in our field. We were surprised to see how organized they are, and how professional their laboratories are.

These activities have all been designed by Berlink for us and we are grateful for that.

We have been helped by good and attentive tutors. We advise everyone, students, teachers and schools to try the “Berlink experience”.
